What we owe each other.
So that we may foster a God‑pleasing spirit of cooperation, both students and teachers begin from the same place: all people are sinners, full of imperfections and shortcomings.
Teachers think of children as precious souls for whom Christ shed His blood. They love the children entrusted to their care and work to train, guide, lead and properly discipline them so they receive the best education possible.
Students, in turn, consider their teachers gifts of God. Students should feel free to confide in their teachers — they are there to help with any problem. If a student feels they have been treated unfairly, we encourage them to raise it with the teacher directly. Parents who sense a misunderstanding are urged to talk with the teacher before coming to the principal.
Certification
All teachers at Aspire are state certified or are actively pursuing certification. Faculty hold regularly scheduled curriculum meetings to study and improve what and how we teach.
Board of Education
The Board is the policy‑making body of the school — at least five members plus the principal, meeting monthly. Parents may request a place on the agenda through the Board chairperson at least a week in advance.
Volunteers welcome
Teacher helpers are needed in all grades, and parents who drive on field trips or volunteer in the building are a real part of how this school runs. Background checks are required for volunteers. See volutuition for how volunteer hours can offset tuition.
