Aspire Christian Academy exists to provide for the spiritual, academic, social, emotional and physical development of every student in our building — and to raise disciples for Jesus Christ.
Mission & Philosophy
Why a Christian school.
A Christian school provides the fullest opportunity for the education of the whole child — spiritually, academically, physically, mentally and socially — for his or her whole life.
While a child studies secular subjects, he or she is still God’s child, who must learn that all knowledge and life are from God and must be used to glorify God. A Christian school is the most desirable school situation because it keeps children under the influence of God’s Word every day of the week, in a place where the Christian spirit is part of every relationship and every lesson.
Religion is not a segregated subject in the day’s work. Its influence permeates and gives substance to all subject areas taught. The Word of God is the unifying and organizing force of the whole school program.

The three goals of Christian education
- To lead the individual to faith in Christ, and to keep him in that faith.
- To help the individual develop into an ever more mature Christian in all of life’s relationships, both secular and religious.

Growing the Whole Child

Christian education is concerned with the development of knowledge, skill, ability, attitude and character through teaching, training, study and experience. All five areas below receive daily attention at Aspire.
A full course of study
Language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, technology, music and art — taught with the expectation that students meet or exceed grade level.
Habits that carry forward
Study skills, reasoning and the discipline of independent work, so students are ready for whatever education comes next.
Active every day
Scheduled physical education, daily recess and outdoor play through the Wisconsin winter.
Living together well
A small community where students learn to live in a spirit of Christian harmony, cooperation, forgiveness and love.
The whole child
None of these grow in isolation. That is the case for a Christian school — it is the one place all five are tended at once.

Accreditation
Where we stand.
Aspire Christian Academy is in the pre‑accreditation process with WRISA, a state‑recognized self‑evaluation process authorized by our Board of Education and the State of Wisconsin. The process identifies schools that maintain high academic standards.
Our faculty holds regularly scheduled curriculum meetings to study and improve what we teach. A five‑year curriculum review and update is part of maintaining state accreditation.
All teachers at Aspire are state certified or actively pursuing certification.
Governance
How the school is run.
Final authority for all matters of policy rests with the Board of Education, with guidance from the principal. The Board consists of at least five members plus the school principal, organizes annually and elects a chairman.
The principal is immediately responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of the school under the direction of the Board. The Board is policy‑based; it does not direct daily school operations.
The Board meets monthly. School parents may request a place on the agenda by contacting the Board chairperson at least one week before a scheduled meeting.
Home & School
A partnership with parents.
Aspire is a Christian community that functions in partnership. Our teachers help parents with their God‑given responsibility for training their children in the ways of the Lord. Working together, the Christian home and the Christian school best achieve their shared goal.
- Parents follow progress throughout the quarter in the Sycamore family portal
- First‑quarter report cards are paired with scheduled parent–teacher conferences
- Further conferences may be scheduled any time, by parent or teacher request
- Standardized test results are sent home when available
- Parents are welcome to visit classes and make appointments with a teacher or the principal
- A monthly newsletter — written and produced by our upper‑grade students — goes out through Telegram
PTO
The Parent‑Teacher Organization exists to bring home and school into closer relationship. Every parent with a child at Aspire is automatically a member, and all are urged to attend scheduled events.
Resolving a concern
Following Matthew 18, concerns are addressed at the level closest to the situation first:
- Meet with the teacher or staff member directly involved.
- Meet with the principal.
- Meet with the School Board.
